Job Description: Documentum D2 Developer - (Remote):

Description:

Acts independently under general direction. Provides technical assistance and advice on complex activities. Formulates / defines specifications, develops / modifies / maintains complex systems and subsystems, using vendor engineering releases and utilities for overall operational systems. Applies analytical techniques when gathering information from users, defining work problems, designing technology solutions, and developing procedures to resolve the problems. Develops complete specifications to enable computer programmers to prepare required programs. Analyzes methods of approach. Reviews task proposal requirements, gathers information, analyzes data, prepares project synopses, compares alternatives, prepares specifications, resolves processing problems, coordinates work with programmers and engineers, and orients users to new systems. Works with considerable freedom to make decisions on the techniques and approaches to be used. Prepares recommendations for system improvement for management and user consideration.

Specialized Skills:

Resource needed for Documentum D2 upgrade and candidate should have the following:

• In Depth programming using Java, JQuery, SQL/DQL 
• Experience with Taskspace v1.x(priority, work queues) 
• Experience with Documentum (IDQL, IAPI, WDK, Composer)
• Experience with Documentum Workflows
• Experience with using D2

Additional Required Skills/Experience:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years experience in system engineering, software development, or related field; 
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in System Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred; 
  • Possesses exceptional and/or highly specialized Systems Engineering qualifications/expertise;
  • Recognized as an industry leader; 
  • Able to initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; 
  • Capable of providing strategic and expert advice and technical guidance to program and project staff regarding development of software systems, systems integration, and/or network engineering; 
  • Extensive experience in software systems development, systems integration and/or network engineering of complex information systems/subsystems; 
  • Ability to provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
  • Able to consult with client to define needs or challenges; 
  • Ability to supervise studies, lead surveys and collect data for analyses used to advise and recommend/suggest solutions; 
  • Capable of incorporating vendor engineering releases and utilities in designs;
  • Able to effectively consult with affected stakeholders to provide advice, define needs/challenges, or make recommendations for improvement; 
  • Extensive experience in software requirements elicitation and scope definition and subsequent development of complete specification(s) and design documents;
  • Extensive experience applying analytical techniques to gather information from users, define work problems, design a software solution, and/or develop procedures to resolve the work problems; 
  • Extensive experience reviewing task proposal requirements, gathering information, analyzing data, preparing task/project synopses, performing comparative analyses, preparing specifications, resolving processing problems, coordinating work with developers, and orienting users;; 
  • Able to obtain Postal clearance; 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with all management levels."

Additional Provisions:
  • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
  • Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
  • If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
  • All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card), or hold an H-1B Visa.
  • Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
