Software Developer for Remedy Support
Location: Remote. 
Eastern, Central, Mountain, Western time zones.
US Citizenship is Required - Ability to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance.

The Remedy Developer position is a senior-level, critical system support role for managing an ITSM Service Management platform that includes Service request, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management applications.
This position is in a 24 x 7x 365 environment working various day and/or evening shifts and provides onsite business support by managing user administration, break/fix mitigation, software patching/upgrades and enhancements to existing workflow as needed to meet critical business objectives.
Extensive understanding of BMC DevStudio, UDM/DDM and AR Migrator is required. SQL/PLSQL, Javascript, shell scripting, Unix experience is a preferred. Knowledge of the Atrium CMDB architecture, reconciliation and job scheduling is a plus.

Experience with Remedy Single Sign-On (RSSO) and LDAP is required to assist with transition to CAIA and/or SAML authentication technologies.
Use of established Incident and Change Management Processes and Procedures must be adhered to when classifying, prioritizing, and escalating incidents or changes. 

  • Process Remedy ITSM Service Requests
  • Provide incident resolution assistance
  • Support Remedy ITSM upgrade
  • Provide back-up support when primary Remedy SME is unavailable
At least, 6 years of prior BMC AR Server, BMC Remedy ITSM Suite, BMC Atrium CMDB
ServiceNow experience a plus
Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Critical thinking skills Professional communication skills both written and verbal
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
